Slot Types: Flexible vs Fixed

Each service uses one of two slot types, which controls how clients pick a time.

Flexible slots

Clients choose any available time within your working hours. This is best for one-to-one appointments like haircuts, PT sessions, or consultations.

Fixed slots

You define specific times (for example 9:00am, 11:00am, 2:00pm) and clients pick from your set times only. This is best for classes, workshops, or group sessions.

• You can add up to 20 fixed times.
• Fixed slots require a capacity to be set (see Group bookings and classes).

To add fixed times, type a time in HH:MM format and press Enter or the + button.

⚠️ Note: changing the slot type on an existing service affects future bookings only. Bookings already on your calendar are unaffected.
