Payment Modes
Choose how clients pay under Settings → Payments. There are three modes.
Full payment
The client pays the full amount at the time of booking. Requires Stripe to be connected.
Deposit
The client pays a percentage upfront (1–100%, which you set). The remaining balance is due at the appointment. When you mark the booking complete, the client is sent a balance due reminder email with a payment link for the rest.
Cash
No online payment. The client books for free and pays you in person.
Booking approval
By default, new bookings arrive as Pending and wait for you to accept or decline them. Two settings change this:
- Auto-accept all bookings — every booking is accepted automatically, with no manual approval. This overrides the regulars setting below, and while it's on the mark as regular option is hidden (you don't need it).
- Auto-accept regular clients — only clients you've marked as regular skip the Pending stage. Their bookings are confirmed automatically; everyone else's still waits for your approval.
What clients are emailed
- When a booking still needs your approval, the client gets a booking request received email (it is not yet confirmed).
- When the booking is confirmed — because you accepted it, a card payment succeeded, or it was auto-accepted — the client gets a single booking confirmed email.
- Auto-accepted bookings skip the request email and go straight to the confirmation, so clients never receive two emails for the same booking.
💡 Tip: Deposit mode is ideal for higher-value services where you want commitment from the client without charging the full amount upfront.
