Creating Manual Bookings

When a client calls or walks in, you can add their appointment yourself rather than waiting for them to book online.

Creating a booking

  1. Go to Bookings → New booking.
  2. Select the client (or create a new one).
  3. Choose the service, staff member, date, and time.
  4. Choose how the client is paying.

Payment options

  • Cash/card — already paid — records the payment and creates a Confirmed booking immediately.
  • Cash/card — not yet paid — creates a Confirmed booking with no payment recorded yet.
  • Stripe payment link — emails the client a payment link. The booking starts as Pending Payment until they pay.

⚠️ Note: manual bookings skip the Pending stage and go straight to Confirmed — except payment link bookings, which wait at Pending Payment until the client pays.

Internal notes

You can add internal notes when creating the booking and edit them afterwards. These notes are never visible to clients — they're for you and your team only.
