Recording Manual Payments

Use Record payment on any booking to log money you received outside of Stripe — cash, a card reader, or a bank transfer.

The fields

• Amount — how much was paid.
• Method — cash, card, or bank transfer.
• Note — an optional reference, such as a receipt number.

The booking is then marked Paid or Partially Paid, depending on the amount.

⚠️ Note: recording a payment does not send any email to the client and does not change the booking status (a Confirmed booking stays Confirmed). It's a record-keeping tool only.

⚠️ Note: manually-recorded payments cannot be refunded through Scheddual. Any refund must be handled outside the system.
