Connecting Stripe
Scheddual uses Stripe for two completely separate things. It helps to understand the difference:
- Stripe Connect (client payments) — your clients pay you directly through your booking page. You keep 100% — there's no Scheddual transaction fee.
- Stripe Billing (your subscription) — how Scheddual charges you £19/month for the platform.
This article is about Stripe Connect, for taking client payments.
Connecting Stripe for client payments
- Go to Settings → Payments.
- Click Connect Stripe.
- Complete Stripe's Express onboarding (UK only — you'll need to verify your identity).
- You'll be redirected back to Scheddual when it's done.
Connection states
- Not connected — no Stripe account is linked.
- Pending — your account exists but Stripe hasn't finished verifying it. You can't take payments yet — finish the setup to continue.
- Connected — fully verified. Clients can now pay online.
💡 Tip: you can still take bookings without Stripe — use Cash payment mode and record payments manually.
